El Rancho Grande Shows in June & July

In Baltimore, MD, there is a new music venue and late night coffee house. El Rancho Grande has been open for a couple months now and is developing a reputation for being a supportive and collaborative space for local artists and musicians. Every other wednesday hard working and committed musicians like Caleb Stine come to the ranch to play together with Ranch proprietor Peter Schmader in the easeful, dimly-lit Ranch. The huge front windows of the Ranch, which look out on the Avenue (36th Street) in Hampden, create the perfect backdrop for these wonderfully intimate wednesday night jams sessions.

In the next few months there will be a lot of exciting things going on in this raucous late-night coffee house.  June 6 (this Friday @ 8pm) Bruce Hughes will be coming to The Ranch from Austin, TX to bring his acoustilicious experipop to baltimore. There are 3 other shows scheduled for June and July including Philadelphia's The New Time (Philadelphia, PA) on June 28 @ 9pm, Lonesome State ( Portsmouth, NH) on July 5 @ 9pm, and Caleb Stine, Theodore (St. Louis, MO), and Peter Schmader (Baltimore, MD) on July 12 @ 9pm.

Austin Bruce Hughes and Scrappy Newcomb (from Austin, TX) on June 6th  is the first of a bunch of up coming shows at El Rancho Grande in Hampden, Maryland.

If you want to find out what acoustilicious Experipop sounds like, You can check out Bruce Hughes' music at the following link.

The Ranch will also be showing painting and photographs by Artists living in Baltimore starting in July. More information will be posted in the next few weeks.
